Royal Wedding Video Royals arrive for Zara Phillips' wedding

Miss Phillips arrived at Canongate Kirk at 3.05pm wearing a gown designed by Stewart Parvin, one of her grandmother's favourite couturiers, with shoes by Jimmy Choo and the Greek Key tiara loaned to her by her mother, the Princess Royal, and which was once owned by Princess Alice of Battenburg, the mother of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.

The gown was chosen from the White Room, Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, which is near the home she already shares with her 32-year-old fiance.

The dress was an ivory silk faille and silk duchess satin gown; faille is a soft light fabric of silk, rayon or taffeta.

Her bouquet was by Paul Thomas.

The first wedding guests began to arrive just after 1pm. As the coach pulled in, the waiting spectators let out a large cheer.

Guyana Plane Crash -- Flight BW523 Carrying 140 Passengers Crash Lands at Airport Video

Caribbean Airlines plane carrying 140 passengers has crashed while landing in Guyana and broken in two, causing several injuries but no deaths.

President Bharrat Jadgdeo says the plane apparently overshot the 400-foot (123-meter) runway at Cheddi Jagan International Airport in rainy weather early Saturday.

Authorities are struggling to remove passengers without adequate field lights and other emergency equipment.

They have closed the airport, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded and delaying dozens of flights.

The crash of the BW 523 is the worst in recent history in Guyana. It is one of only a few serious incidents involving the Trinidad-based airline that is the single largest carrier in the region.

Reid Objects To Consideration Of His Own Debt Bill

Both plans would save about the same amount of money over ten years. The Reid bill would save $909 billion. The Boehner bill (including the July 29 changes) would save $917 billion.

Both plans would cut about the same amount (about $1 trillion) from the 2012 and 2013 budgets (the only budgets that this Congress has any real authority over). (This does not include Reid's “war savings,” see below.)

Both plans create a super-committee – a bipartisan committee of 12 members from both houses – to come up with a bill that reforms taxes and entitlements (Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security). Both houses would be required to vote on whatever bill the committee came up with.

Both plans cap discretionary (non-entitlement) spending. The caps rise with inflation after 2014.

Watch Josh Beckett Makes Little Boy Cry Red Sox Video

There's not much that can top catching a ball in a Major League ballpark. Unless, of course, Red Sox pitcher Josh Beckett walks right up to you and HANDS you a ball. Your hand in his. Your ball forever. It's no wonder the way young Sox fan Dylan Sylvia reacted has created a bit of a buzz in Beantown. It was just kind of ... well, weird.

When Beckett spotted the pint-sized Sylvia with a small gadget (cellphone perhaps?) taking pictures from the front row during pre-game warmups, the pitcher walked straight up to him to hand over a ball. Aww! What a nice guy! But then Sylvia burst into tears. Erm, oops?

Not exactly the reaction Beckett was expecting? Not exactly the reaction from most fans. But possibly the most genuine sign of fanship ever. Take a look:

1st and 10 discuss Sidney Rice and Vince Young

Now that the Tennessee Titans have released quarterback Vince Young, the question remains: Will Young ever get it — will he ever mature to the point where his maturity and work ethic matches his raw (but still unproven) talent?

The topic was up for debate on the NFL Network today, and as usual, former offensive lineman Jamie Dukes was VERY adamant in his opinion. And his opinion is that a team in need of a quarterback would be nuts not to take a flyer on Young. As Dukes kept preachifying (as is his wont), former Oakland Raiders general manager Michael Lombardo broke in from off-set to harass Dukes for what he called his "shilling" for the quarterback.

Lombardi busts in at about the 2:00 minute mark, but the whole video is a pretty good example of what happens when a bunch of people hit critical mass on the subject of free agency.

Watch Greg Olsen embraces fresh start as Bears deal him to Panthers(VIDEO)

This is not my own copyright cantant Source by http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/6761934-419/greg-olsen-embraces-fresh-start-as-bears-deal-him-to-panthers.html Greg Olsen just wanted some clarity, to know where he stood with the Bears.

The 31st pick in the 2007 NFL draft, he had improved his catches, yards and touchdowns in each of his first three seasons, and some projected him as a breakout player in 2010.

Many speculated Olsen wouldn’t be an ideal fit under new offensive coordinator Mike Martz, who traditionally hadn’t used a tight end much. But everyone played nice through a 2010 season in which the Bears won the NFC North and reached the conference title game, even though Olsen’s production dipped across the board.

Heading into the final year of his rookie deal and slated to make $900,000, Olsen needed to feel good about his future.

On Tuesday, Bears officials told his agent Drew Rosenhaus that they needed a couple of days — based on all the chaos of this shortened offseason — before they could discuss a possible extension. Then, on Wednesday night, they informed Rosenhaus they were looking to trade Olsen.

On Thursday, the Carolina Panthers traded a third-round pick in the 2012 draft to the Bears for Olsen, then agreed to terms with the tight end on a four-year extension worth about $24 million, including $10.5  million guaranteed. The Bears also released Brandon Manumaleuna, whom they signed just last offseason to a three-year, $15 million contract, and signed Matt Spaeth from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Kellen Davis is the only 2010 holdover at tight end.

Olsen has been stunned by it all.

‘‘It was not something that I expected,’’ he told the Sun-Times. ‘‘Then things transpired really fast. But, in the end, I think I’m going to a good place. There’s no doubt I’m going to miss my teammates, and the city of Chicago has been awesome to me and my family.

‘‘But, the business side of it, this was something that — I guess — was in the Bears’ best interests, and then once we started down that road, there was no turning back.’’

Could he have played another down for the Bears if they hadn’t found a suitable trade partner?

‘‘We went through all that stuff last year, and I was able to put it behind me and move forward,’’ he said. ‘‘Last year wasn’t as serious. But this year was more open and official, that this is what they wanted to do. It would be hard knowing that a team didn’t want you two times, then playing through it again.’’

Olsen admitted his reduced role and opportunities last season bothered him.

‘‘There’s no worse feeling then not being able to play up to your potential,’’ he said. ‘‘Last year, I felt like that was the case.’’

Still, Olsen said he’ll be grateful for his time with the Bears.

‘‘I always had a tremendous amount of respect for [coach] Lovie [Smith] and the Bears for selecting me with their first pick [in 2007],” he said.

Olsen said he fit into the offense, and he embraced Martz’s push for him to become a better blocker. And while he got chances to make plays, ‘‘there were weeks on end where I did nothing. I can’t say I never had a role, but it wasn’t consistent.’’

But Olsen is thrilled to be headed to Carolina, where he’ll reunite with former Miami teammate Jon Beason and former Miami offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski.

‘‘To get back with Coach Chud, and what he’s done in the past, with tight ends, is going to be huge for my development,’’ Olsen said, ‘‘and I’m looking forward to it.’’

Chudzinski coached two of the game’s most talented tight ends, Kellen Winslow and Antonio Gates.

Asked about his role, Olsen said, ‘‘It’s hard to say. But his track record of using guys is pretty clear, and that’s encouraging. Now it falls on my shoulders on how I perform. To be honest, I think it’s a way to finally get out of the restraints of what our system was.’’

Still, he’ll never forget the last two days, when he was holed up in a dorm room at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, waiting to hear about his future.

Video: Braves beat Pirates 4-3 in after blown call in 19th inning YouTube

The longest game in Atlanta Braves history ended at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday on a call so controversial, it more than made up for any the Braves felt went against them earlier.

John Amis, AP Braves' Julio Lugo braces for Pirates catcher Michael McKenry tag. Lugo was called safe at home, giving the Braves a 4-3 win in 19 innings and 6 hours, 39 minutes.

Julio Lugo slid and was called safe on a play at the plate in the 19th inning for a 4-3 win against Pittsburgh at Turner Field, though replays clearly showed Pirates catcher Michael McKenry applied the tag well before Lugo touched the plate.

"That’s the way baseball goes," said Braves relief pitcher Scott Proctor (2-3), whose fielder's choice grounder to third with one out gave him both a win and a game-winning RBI. "I’m not saying anything else.”

The weary Braves had a 4-3 win over the Pirates that took six hours and 39 minutes, cost Atlanta its All-Star catcher for at least the next 15 days, and might have provided further impetus for Braves general manager Frank Wren to make a trade this week to strengthen the team's offense.

As inconsistent as that offense has been lately, it's now without its best hitter for a while after Brian McCann injured the oblique muscle in his left side while making a throw to second base in the 10th inning. He'll go on the 15-day disabled list and Triple-A journeyman J.C. Boscan will serve as David Ross' backup until McCann returns.

"Chipper [Jones] will be back in a couple of days," Ross said. "Get him back, we'll be alright. We really need Mac, though. It’s going to be a big loss. There’s no way to hide that. The guy's a stud. He's an MVP candidate.

"There’s no way to replace that. I’m just going to try to do the best I can and play my game and try to help this team win.”

Wren was on a cell phone in his private suite above home plate, talking with someone during the seventh inning as he watched his hitters flail on the field below during the longest game ever played by either the Atlanta Braves or the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Braves went 2-for-19 with runners in scoring position Tuesday after going 0-for-5 in those situations during Monday's 3-1 series-opening loss to the Pirates. They left 23 runners on base Tuesday and had 15 hits, all singles, including two from McCann before he left in the 10th.

The game lasted 29 minutes longer than the previous longest in Atlanta history, a 19-inning game against the New York mets on July 4, 1985 at Fulton County Stadium.

The Call

Perhaps one-fourth of an announced crowd of 22,036 remained in the ballpark when Proctor grounded to third and Lugo raced home, sliding into McKenry. Some Braves feared would be an inning-ending double play because Proctor slipped and fell coming out of the batter's box, and looked as if he'd probably be thrown out at first by McKenry after the tag at home.

When home-plate umpire Jerry Meals made the safe signal, McKenry seethed in utter disbelief and manager Clint Hurdle raced from the dugout to argue with the ump. Meanwhile, Braves players raced from their own dugout to mob Proctor, still making his way toward first base.

"He made the right call," Lugo said, raising his eyebrows and smiling. "I know I'm safe."

“I was just thinking get to first because you don’t want to be doubled up," Proctor said. "I slipped coming out of the box. When they showed the [replay of the] play at home, I was still in the frame. That’s how bad it was. It was pretty bad.

"Very easily [could have been a double play]. The only reason it wasn’t was because he [McKenry] argued."

That and the fact that Meals called Lugo safe at home, obviously eliminating any chance of a double play. Game over.

“The game tonight deserved way better than that," Hurdle said. "For it to end that way is as disappointing as it gets in this game.”

Meals was asked by a pool reporter about the call and why he thought Lugo was safe.

"I saw the tag, but he looked like he oléd him and I called him safe for that," he said. "I looked at the replays and it appeared he might have got him on the shin area. I’m guessing he might have got him, but when I was out there when it happened I didn’t see a tag.

"I just saw the glove sweep up. I didn’t see the glove hit his leg."

“Just reading his lips, he thought he missed the tag at the plate," said Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez. "I don’t know. I haven’t had a chance to see the replay.”

Gonzalez was in the clubhouse at the time, having been ejected in the ninth inning with center fielder Nate McLouth. They got tossed after McLouth argued a called third strike, the second time in the game that he disputed a called strike by Meals.

After Meals made a game-ending call that could be used in future arguments for expanded use of replay, the Braves counted their blessings and mustered enough energy to celebrate a bit before heading to the clubhouse, utterly exhausted.

"He looked out to me, but I haven’t seen the replay," Ross said. "It’s one of those things, I’m glad it happened to us. He looked out, but I don’t know what his explanation is, what he saw.”

“He was safe," said Braves reliever Cristhian Martinez, who had earlier shown a some displeasure with Meals' strike zone. "We got one call all night. We got the best one on that one.”

Nobody came up bigger in the game for the Braves than Martinez, who allowed two hits in six scoreless innings through the 16th, and also chipped in with a single and two sacrifice bunts. The slender right-hander struck out the side in the 15th inning to give seven Braves pitchers a combined total of 20 strikeouts, including six apiece by starter Tommy Hanson and Martinez.

“For me the MVP was Cristhian Martinez," Gonzalez said. "He did one heck of a job.”

Proctor pitched the last three innings and allowed one hit, three walks and no runs, a much better performance than most of his recent spotty outings. He reduced his bloated ERA to 6.48.

Battle of attrition

The negative for the Braves was McCann, who left after making an errant throw to second on a stolen base in the 10th. The throw sailed to center field, and he limped noticeably afterward.

After a visit with the team trainer on the mound, McCann tested his side with a throw back to the pitcher, immediately signaling that he couldn’t continue. Ross caught the rest of the game and will slip into every-day mode now as the primary catcher while McCann is recovering.

“Yeah, I mean there’s not really a choice," Ross said. "That’s why they have me here. They have me here as a backup, as insurance. They pay me a lot of money to do that. I welcome the challenge."

Schafer was also hit in the left wrist by a pitch in the 11th inning, not far from the chip fracture in his left middle finger that’s kept him out of five consecutive starts. He was scratched from the lineup Tuesday, but entered as a late-innings defensive replacement.

With the Braves running out of players, he stayed in the game after being hit.

"We didn’t have anyone else," he said. "It wasn't broken or anything. My finger bothered me more than my wrist [where he was hit by the pitch]. … It hurt at first. I got me right on the bone. It wasn't that bad, though."

Schafer singled after Lugo's one-out walk in the 19th inning, then advanced to second on catcher's indifference to put two runners in scoring position with one out and Proctor batting.

Lowe was ready to pitch

Proctor was the Braves' last relief pitcher, and would have pitched one more inning if the game continued. Gonzalez said starter Derek Lowe was about to warm up to take over after that, if it had been necessary.

But he didn't have to. Not after Lugo slid and Meals, after a moment of hesitation, spread his arms to signal safe. The Braves had won a game in which they twice had failed to score after putting two runners on base with none out, including once when they had runners at second and third with none out in the sixth inning.

“It was crazy," Lugo said of the mind-numbing marathon. "But it was good.”

Jason Heyward’s two-run, two-out single capped a three-run third inning tied the score for the Braves, but most of rest of their offensive story was about missed opportunities. They went 2-for-19 with runners in scoring position, after going 0-for-5 in those spots during Monday’s 3-1 loss that opened the four-game series.

They had two on and none out in the 12th inning before Dan Uggla lined out, Alex Gonzalez grounded out and, after an intentional walk to Heyward loaded the bases, Lugo grounded into an inning-ending fielder’s choice.

Hanson gave up three runs and seven hits in six innings, including two runs in the first inning. It marked the seventh time in eight games that the Braves trailed after the first inning, and eighth consecutive game in which the opposition scored first in either the first or second inning.

The Pirates got their first-inning runs on three hits including a Neil Walker triple off the right-field wall and two-out single by Pedro Alvarez, then pushed the lead to 3-0 on Michael McKenry’s second-inning homer off Hanson.

But after the McKenry homer, the right-hander retired nine of the next 10 batters, then struck out Alvarez with two on to end the fifth.

Braves second baseman Dan Uggla had singles in his first two at-bats, extending his career-best hitting streak to 17 games and raising his average to .200 for the first time since May 16. But by the end of his 2-for-8 night, he was back at .199.

Freddie Freeman was 3-for-7 for the Braves and made two diving defensive plays in extra innings.

Uggla had the third of three consecutive two-out singles in the third inning off Jeff Karstens. After Uggla drove in the Braves’ first run, Eric Hinske drew a walk and Heyward lined a single up the middle to bring in two runs for a 3-all tie.

There was not another run scored for the next 15 innings, and the Pirates would argue there wasn't one scored for the next 16.

Mario Balotelli fail showboat shot & substitution! 25 July

The Mario Balotelli Showboat FAIL (LA Galaxy-Manchester City)

July 24th, 2011

There have been some crazy moments this pre-season (Carl Jenkinson's own goal for Arsenal v Cologne on Saturday for example) but the Mario Balotelli Showboat FAIL against the LA Galaxy, and subsequent hysteria, has signalled that the 2011/2012 season is nigh.

The bare details are that after half-an-hour of Manchester City's eventual penalty shoot-out win at the Home Depot Centre, Balotelli was played through with a fine run across the line.

Super Mario's options were pretty clear, a shot on goal seemed the most obvious whilst Edin Dzeko was square for a pass should the Italian striker wish to pass responsibility to his Manchester City strike partner.

Instead, Balotelli pulled out a pirouette followed by a back heel shot that went wide of the LA Galaxy goal, immediately bringing boos from the LA Galaxy crowd.

And whilst the home punters were happy to play Balotelli as the pantomime villain as Dzeko reacted in bewilderment, Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini was one angry puppy on the touchline. Seconds later, despite his protestations Balotelli was substituted.

Live boxing: Amir Khan v Zab Judah live Streaming 23 July 2011

On 23rd July 2011, Amir 'King Khan' returns to Primetime in a head-to-head fight against Zab 'Super' Judah for the WBA and IBF world light-welterweight unification title. The fight takes place live from Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay and will be screened exclusively on pay-per-view channel Primetime.
Amir Khan is looking to take his career to the next level when he faces Zab Judah in Las Vegas. The Bolton boxer is the reigning WBA light-welterweight champion and has the opportunity to take the IBF title if he can overcome 'Super' Judah.

WATCH Amir Khan Vs Zab Judah LIVE NOW ALL PART

Both fighters have a point to prove. For Khan this is a chance to unify the belts with a strong possibility of a future match-up with Floyd Mayweather Jr. As for Judah, the 33-year-old has climbed back to the top recently and is ready to show the world he belongs there.

Khan, 24, has held the WBA belt since 2009 when he defeated Andriy Kotelnik in Manchester with a clinical performance and a unanimous points decision. The Olympic silver medallist has defended the strap four times, most notably in his Fight of the Year war with Marcos Maidana in December.

His opponent tonight first became champion when Khan was still a 13-year-old schoolboy. Judah won the IBF light-welterweight titlee back in 2000 in what was one of four spells as world champion. The New Yorker has been in the ring with the best and his vast experience fighting from light-welter to light-middleweight will surely serve him well against his younger foe.

Judah, who also had a reign as world welterweight champion, is coming into the bout on a five-fight winning streak; the latest of which saw him claim the vacant IBF title from South African Kaizer Mabuza.

Speed and power may be on Khan's side, but Judah has the experience to cause him some problems and if there is any lack of concentration from Khan, Judah will know exactly what to do. With that in mind, we should be in for a great fight!

Chilling video of rare Massachusetts tornadoes Salon

The number of dead rose to three from Wednesday’s tornadoes as a dozen-storm ravaged communities launched recovery efforts and Massachusetts congressional delegation appealed to the White House for disaster relief.

In a letter to President Obama, U.S. Sen. John Kerry, U.S. Rep. Richard E. Neal and six delegation members called for a presidential disaster declaration needed to steer millions in federal aid to homeowners and businesses in central and Western Massachusetts.

The appeal came 18 hours after Gov. Deval Patrick declared a state of emergency after two late-afternoon tornadoes rained destruction on a dozen communities from Westfield to Sturbridge.

A third death - involving a West Springfield mother killed while shielding her 15-year old daughter in a bathtub - was confirmed Thursday, in addition to a West Springfield motorist crushed by a tree and woman camping in Brimfield.

Area hospitals treated about 80 patients suffering from minor injuries to lightning strikes and trauma; at Baystate Medical Center, two required surgery and a third, an assistant district attorney, remains in serious condition after being struck by debris.

No estimates have been provided for the total cost of the storms, but Kerry said he expects the figure will be astronomical.

“I don’t think there’s any question we’re in the tens of millions. Where it goes from there it’s too early to tell. But the bottom line is: I think help will be there,” Kerry said while touring Monson with Patrick and other elected officials.

Berkshire Bank announced it will match all donations to the American Red Cross up to $10,000. The bank’s Springfield and East Longmeadow branches will reopen Friday after being closed Thursday, bank officials announced.

Power outages remained a problem, with 22,000 National Grid customers in Brimfield, Monson and surrounding communities waiting for electricity to return; 13,306 Western Massachusetts Electric customers, mostly in Springfield’s Sixteen Acres and East Forest Park neighborhoods, were also without power Thursday night, down from 17,000 immediately after the storms.

Power should be restored to Western Massachusetts Electric customers by the weekend, said spokesman Frank J. Poirot.

Marcy L. Reed, president of National Grid, Massachusetts, said that workers have been on the job non-stop to restore electricity after tornadoes swept into the region Wednesday night causing widespread devastation.

She said 72 percent of Monson is without power.

“Our hearts go out to everyone affected by these devastating storms, especially the families of the four people who lost their lives yesterday,” Reed said.

She cautioned that people who are using generators should place them outside.

As the scope of the storm damage became apparent Thursday, communities turned to emergency workers, to government agencies and each other for help in rebuilding.

In Springfield, the city opened shelters for displaced and homeless people on Thursday at the Greenleaf Community Center on Parker Street in Sixteen Acres, and at Central High School on Roosevelt Avenue.

Approximately 210 people stayed at the MassMutual Center Wednesday night, and were being aided by the American Red Cross and others, said Thomas T. Walsh, the city’s communications director. They were being moved to the new shelters, with transportation provided by the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority.

Cathedral High School, left heavily damaged by the tornado, has rescheduled its graduation and two other events, with all events moved to next week.

The Cathedral graduation exercises will be June 10 at 6 p.m., at St. Michael’s Cathedral on State Street in Springfield.

Cathedral’s Class Night ceremonies will be June 8, at 7 p.m., at Veritas Auditorium, Elms College, in Chicopee. A Baccalaureate Mass will be Thursday, at 7 p.m., at St. Michael’s Cathedral.

Alan J. Ingram, superintendent of the Springfield public schools, said that two elementary schools were too heavily damaged to reopen this school year.

Ingram said Mary A. Dryden Veterans Memorial School at 190 Surrey Road and Elias Brookings School at 367 Hancock Street will not be able to reopen.

All other public schools should reopen the beginning of next week, Ingram said.

City, state and federal emergency personnel, meanwhile, have “pretty much” completed their primary search for injured or trapped victims and have begun a more thorough secondary search, Fire Department spokesman Dennis G. Leger said.

“We are pretty confident that after the first search that anybody that has been injured has been found,” Leger said.

Delaney said emergency response is being hampered by gawkers coming in from out of the city. “We are telling people to stay out of the area,” he said. “If you want to see devastation it’s going to be there for weeks.”

Delaney said neighbors should help neighbors as emergency personnel continue to clear the streets. “We are clearing the streets first, the houses are secondary,” he said.

Delaney said literally hundreds of building have been damaged throughout the city and numerous streets remain closed.

Leger said the collapse or re-collapse of damaged structures has been a concern for emergency personnel. “If it looks really shaky, they are sending in dogs, if it doesn’t they are sending in people,” Leger said.

Leger stressed that residents clearing off their properties need to be aware of their surroundings. “Don’t touch the wires, people need to be very cautious about that,” Leger said. “This is when people get hurt, after the fact.”

Leger said he knows of several instances on Thursday of people getting injured by falling limbs and collapsing buildings.

All off-duty police personnel were called to duty Wednesday night and the officers, working in teams of six to 12, literally went house to house searching for the trapped and injured, Delaney said.

“We had people trapped in their cellars, people trapped in their cars,” Delaney said.

A number of neighborhoods were impassable by vehicle and the officers had to go on foot. “Literally, police officers could not get to East Forest Park because every avenue was blocked off by trees and downed lines,” Delaney said.

Police had to gain access to the East Forest Park neighborhood through East Longmeadow, Delaney said.

Delaney said emergency personnel set up a command post last night in the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame parking lot.

“They turned over their building last night and we had use of their offices and telephone banks and computers,” Delaney said.

City police and firefighters, numerous other fire departments, members of the state police and the National Guard are operating out of the Hall of Fame parking lot, Delaney said.

Emergency response is being bolstered by fire departments from across the state. “Every fire department in the state is represented in Springfield today,” Delaney said.

New Zealand and other areas in the Pacific Ocean passed the May 21, 6 p.m. local time unscathed, despite predictions by Harold Camping that the hour would signal the beginning of the end of the world, many seemed to breathe a public sigh of relief -- some tongue-in-cheek and others more seriously -- on Twitter and other social media forums.

Although it was not the first time Oakland-based Camping, 89, forecast the apocalypse, this date marked the most attention-grabbing of his doomsday predictions. The unprecedented publicity was spurred by a worldwide $100-million campaign of caravans and billboards, financed by the sale and swap of TV and radio stations.

Camping broadcast what he told viewers would be his final "Open Forum" TV and radio show Thursday night. The Times' Christopher Goffard reported that when Camping, a former engineer, wrapped up the program he's hosted for decades, he shook hands with a couple of crewmen. "I probably won't see you again," he announced.

Nicole Scherzinger Right There ft. 50 Cent American Idol Live Performance Video

Tonight, on the live results show, Nicole Scherzinger will perform her new single which just so happens to feature Curtis Jackson (50 Cent). Prior to Ryan Seacrest announcing who will be voted off and who is headed to the finale, Nicole and 50 will take the stage and I am sure there is going to be a lot of booty shaking going on. Who do you predict will be eliminated tonight on American Idol?

I just watched the Nicole Scherzinger ft. 50 Cent “Right There” music video and it’s the typical crap people call music nowadays. Does this deserve to be on a “talent” show such as American Idol? Absolutely not, the remaining three Idol finalists have RAW natural talent and to put this auto tuned nonsense in their same league is ridiculous. Anyways, I know people love this crap so they will most likely be looking forward to the performance tonight. Il Vollo will also take the Idol stage and perform live, whoever they are.

Canucks Fan Gets Boobs Uploaded Video to the Entire Internet 20 May 2011

Near the end of of game 2 between Sharks and Canucks in Vancouver, a blonde woman with pierced nipples and I guess not much else going for her decided to go boobs-to-box and flash San Jose’s Ben Eager during a penalty. Not only is this the kind of amazing happenstance that will be reported on every single website today (including Cute Overload, Post Secret and Is It Christmas), but flashing a guy named “Ben Eager” gives me the most indoor Nerf-hooped pun of all time. That’s like whipping out your junk in front of a lady named Fanny Johnson.

Check out the censored, relatively safe for work version of the video here, because your work hates nipples, but doesn’t mind the entire rest of the boob. The video is brought to you by The Score, and I bet you couldn’t tell after seeing THE SCORE written all over the place and plastered on the lady like they gave birth to her

Green Men couldn’t make it out to Rogers Arena last night for Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between the San Jose Sharks and the Vancouver Canucks, but who really needs them when you have sexy fans in hockey jerseys flashing their funbags at the opposing team’s players in the penalty box?

Think about it for a second. What is more distracting to a player? A couple of men in green spandex suits holding up signs and goofing around, or a chick with a lovely rack pressing those breasts up against the glass so you can ogle them?

That isn’t a very hard question to answer. The Sharks’ Ben Eager knows what we are talking about.

…And by the way, Canucks win! 7-3!

P.S. If you want to see the video without the breasts blurred out, it isn’t rocket science. Search “Eager” on YouTube and then sort the results by upload date. I did it, and if you like breasts you will want to do the same. Trust me.

Oprah Winfrey farewell a magnet for stars Show in Chicago

Yesterday evening, two back-to-back shows were filmed in part of the series of final episodes of the Oprah Winfrey show. Filmed at the United Center in Chicago, more than 20,000 attended the four hour taping.

The theme of the two shows that were filmed yesterday was “Surprise Oprah” and basically involved everyone who’s everyone in Hollywood joining together to honor the living legend that is Oprah.

The first hour long show was hosted by Tom Hanks. It involved appearances by Tom Cruise, Beyonce, Halle Berry, Madonna, Josh Groban, Dakota Fanning and many more.

The second show was hosted by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. It included appearances by Michael Jordan, Stevie Wonder, Jerry Seinfeld, Simon Cowell, Maria Shriver and Maya Angelou among many others.

So if you are a celebrity, you were in Chicago last night.

The Hollywood Reporter has a very detailed play-by-play of the taping. The two “Surprise Oprah” shows will air on May 23rd and 24th

Here’s how the people involved in the shows have discussed the experience on Twitter:

Lady Gaga performs at Carlisle Airport on May 15, 2011 in Carlisle, England. The Queen Monster grossed $170 million on 137 shows in 22 countries over the past 12 months and has sold an estimated 15 million albums worldwide. (Dave Hogan/Getty Images)

LOS ANGELES -- The men and women on our annual Celebrity 100 list--the most powerful people in the entertainment business this year--earned $4.5 billion over the last 12 months by starring in films, playing basketball, walking the catwalk and more. But they also rose to the top by garnering influence.

These days that means mastering social media. Lady Gaga topples Oprah Winfrey from her No.1 spot on our list, which she's given up for only the third time in seven years. Gaga is there not just because of the $90 million she earned with a monster tour, but also because of her 32 million Facebook fans and 9.5 million Twitter followers--aka Little Monsters--who helped move 1 million digital downloads of her recent single "Born This Way" in only five days. They're also happy to buy the MAC makeup, Monster headphones and Virgin Mobile phones she features in her videos.

Oprah doesn't fall far though. The daytime talk maven, who earned $290 million last year, comes in second. Winfrey's earnings sank $25 million partially due to a reduced payday at SiriusXM. She still earns big from her syndicated show and from the stars she's spawned, including Dr. Phil (No. 18) Rachael Ray and Dr. Oz. Winfrey's earning power will take a bigger hit next year, when her syndicated show ends and she concentrates all her efforts on the struggling OWN network.

Maybe it would help if Oprah took a lesson from No. 3 Justin Bieber. The Biebs debuts on our list at the tender young age of 17, with $53 million earned over the last 12 months thanks to concerts, music sales and a 3-D documentary movie that grossed $100 million at the global box office. If this were 10 years ago Bieber would still be paying his dues in small clubs and schools, but thanks to the Internet, he's a sensation. His first hit song, "Baby," has been viewed 500 million times, a YouTube record.

    Slideshow: The Forbes Celebrity 100

Reality TV it girl Bethenny Frankel is another newbie worth noting. Famous for her newest hit show, Bethenny Ever After, she's used the small-screen platform to promote her Skinnygirl brand, helping her earn $55 million this year. She joins our list in 42nd place. Her entrepreneurial prowess--she sold her Skinnygirl Cocktails to Fortune Brands and nabbed a $100 million cut of the deal paid out over multiple years--also put her on the cover of our magazine this week.

The Celebrity 100, which includes film and television actors, TV personalities, models, athletes, authors, musicians and comedians, is a measure of entertainment-related earnings and media visibility (exposure in print, television, radio and online). We also measure social media power by looking at each celebrity's presence on Facebook and Twitter. The earnings consist of pretax income between May 1, 2010, and May 1, 2011. Management, agent and attorney fees are not deducted. Forbes has been publishing the list annually since 1999.

Despite problems on and off the golf course, Tiger Woods still makes the top 10, ranking sixth with $75 million in annual earnings. Woods hasn't won a tournament since the revelation of his marital infidelities in 2009, and he recently withdrew from The Players Championship. But he still commands $3 million a pop for overseas appearances, and collects money from his remaining sponsors, Nike and Electronic Arts.

A fun little game pretending the Suns win the 2011 NBA Draft Lottery

Duke guard Kyrie Irving, driving (wire)Kyrie Irving promises to bring "diversity and versatility" to the Cleveland Cavaliers if they draft him with the No. 1 pick overall.

Kyrie Irving showed up at the NBA draft lottery tonight not because he expects to be the No. 1 pick in the June 23 draft, he said, but — if you believe him — just because the thing was practically being held in his backyard.

"I live 20 minutes from here," the West Orange native said of the NBAE studio, in Secaucus. "It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity."

But, of course, Irving, the St. Patrick's of Elizabeth grad and Duke product very well could be the top pick. The Cleveland Cavaliers own that pick, after winning the lottery Tuesday. With how the Cavaliers had their heart ripped out last summer when LeBron James left them as a free agent last summer to sign with Miami, someone asked Irving if he thought being the No. 1 pick by Cleveland would cause folks to compare him to LeBron. Irving wasn't buying it.

"No, not at all," Irving said. "I don’t think you could actually make comparisons to me and LeBron, because 1) I’m not 6-8, and 2) I’m not a high flyer. And 3) my name isn’t LeBron James. I don’t think you can make those comparisons yet – I think I bring a different feel to the Cleveland organization if they do decide to pick me there."

Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert, who was so bitter the night LeBron announced his "Decision" on live national TV last summer, was in a completely different mood this night. Not only did Cleveland win the lottery with a pick they acquired from the L.A. Clippers, but their own pick is No. 4 overall.

"It’s just kind of ironic after everything that happened, with over the last few years and last summer, how we had the best record the last two years and close to the worst record this year and we all know what happened in between, just to sit up here and kind of get a fresh start all over again," Gilbert said of the Cavs getting the No. 1 pick.

"When we took that on (the trade for Baron Davis), we said the only way to really build here is to get big players early on in the draft," Gilbert said. "I guess you couldn’t do any better than this. I guess you could (get) 1 and 2, but we’ll take 1 and 4."

Of course, Gilbert wouldn't say if the Cavs will take Irving, a 6-2 point guard who averaged 17.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 11 games for Duke this season, with the first pick. And Irving won't assume anything ("It’s not something I’m expecting – it’s just whatever team has the right situation, they want me or need me, I’m happy to go there," he said). But, he made it clear if he is the No. 1 pick, he'll be ready for whatever awaits him.

"Honestly, if Cleveland does pick me, I think I would bring a lot to the team, diversity and versatility and contribute the best that I can," he said.

CHICAGO – Oh, the uneasiness and irony would’ve been thick had Kyrie Irving been seduced so easily and let LeBron James’(notes) inner circle represent him. From LeBron to Maverick Carter to the industry muscle of the Creative Arts Agency, they relentlessly recruited the Duke star. They wanted to do his contracts, his endorsements, everything. As it turns out, they would’ve marched right back into the life of Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert, with his next fresh-faced franchise star.

Together, James and his associates had lured Irving’s favorite player, Chris Paul(notes), to the agency, and had James hard on the recruiting trail. No one should underestimate the power of James’ tweets toward a hot, young college and high school star, or a well-time phone call or text here and there.

Duke's Kyrie Irving is expected to be the first pick of this year's NBA draft.
    (Getty Images)

For parts of Irving’s freshman season at Duke, rival agents believed LeBron’s camp would sign him. “They came very hard for Kyrie,” says an ex-Duke basketball player who spent time on campus this season. “… All over him.”

Yes, the Cavs won the No. 1 overall pick in the draft lottery on Tuesday night, and Irving is the clear choice for them. Privately, Cavaliers officials gushed over Irving this season and prayed they’d get a chance to draft him. As much as ever, the NBA’s a point guard league and contenders are born of great playmakers.

Had Irving been swayed to the flashy, aggressive pitch by CAA and LeBron’s marketing company, there could’ve been some salacious showdown. Lucky for Gilbert, the pitch fell flat on the Irving family, and substance over sizzle ruled the day. Irving chose an agent, Jeff Wechsler, who hadn’t bothered to recruit Irving at all. Lucky for Gilbert, Irving isn’t entangled in an awkward web of the Cavaliers’ yesterday and tomorrow.

To say there’s nothing but ill-will and downright loathing between Gilbert and LeBron’s associates doesn’t begin to cover the territory. Yet now, Kyrie Irving walks into the Cavaliers with no baggage, no connection to the heartbreak of LeBron James’ departure.

“It’s been a slow, long and painful haul to get through it, and maybe this will be the final straw in getting over the hump and getting to the other side,” Gilbert said.

Irving won’t transform Cleveland overnight, but paired with a frontcourt player with the No. 4 pick and the Cavs can make a rapid ascent to relevance again. There’s no replacing LeBron James, but there is pushing past him and Irving has the talent, the character, to wash away the residue of King James’ departure. This should end Gilbert’s tweeting career on James, and that’ll be beneficial to the city of Cleveland and his organization.

Irving isn’t a savior, but he can be a worthy heir to the generation of Russell Westbrooks and Rajon Rondos. Perhaps Cleveland truly hit the lottery and found itself an MVP, a Derrick Rose(notes), a Chris Paul. For now, Irving’s body of work is too limited to prematurely cast him in those molds, but make no mistake: He’s a godsend in a draft with so few difference makers.

The Cavaliers need to be careful that they don’t overplay him as a savior to sell tickets and create unrealistic expectations. He’s his own man, though. An agent who recruited Irving marveled to his family that they could’ve made a lot of money in the college recruiting and agent processes, but never let it happen. Every big-time college coach and agent you talk to made something clear: Unlike many elite prospects and those surrounding them, the Irvings couldn’t be bought.

A friend of a friend recommended Wechsler, and he sold the Irving family on two themes: Being shrewd with Kyrie’s career earnings, and becoming a beacon of community service and charity. When Wechsler had a chance to make a formal presentation, his pitch wasn’t centered on Irving’s sneaker deals, endorsements and the agent’s role as a 24-7 errand boy. He had Anthony Kennedy Shriver, founder of the globally renowned Best Buddies program, tell Kyrie about the power of charity and giving back.

In the end, the Cavaliers could walk out of the June draft with Irving and an elite power player with the fourth overall pick. GM Chris Grant grabbed the Los Angeles Clippers’ unprotected pick and Baron Davis’(notes) contract for Mo Williams(notes) in February, and the Clippers must be mortified to see it turn into the No. 1 overall. Irving and Blake Griffin(notes) could’ve been a Westbrook-Kevin Durant(notes) partnership, but that’s how it goes with the Clips.

Now, Irving gets the benefit of a coach, Byron Scott, whose inventory of knowledge includes a Showtime Lakers career as Magic Johnson’s running mate and a coaching run that includes Jason Kidd(notes) and Chris Paul under his watch.

Irving will find a city dying to embrace him, and he’ll make it easy. And once they hear that his family took a pass on LeBron and his wooing partners, they’ll be even more impressed. For everyone’s sake, it probably works out that Maverick Carter, Rich Paul and the rest of LeBron’s Akron buddies don’t come marching back into Quicken Loans Arena arm and arm with the future of the Cavaliers’ franchise. It would’ve been a wild scene full of acrimony and tension, but Kyrie Irving made it easy for everyone, and yes, that’s what great point guards are supposed to do.
